Every summer we shut down one week to provide a little respite for our instructors. The week varies by year and last year it was in August. This is one of the three planned shut downs per year for the school. We close for the AISD Spring Break, Winter Break, and one week in the summer.
This Summer we will shut down the school from Saturday July 1 through Friday, July 7 and re-open for classes on Saturday July 8th
We’re doing it over a holiday this year because the 4th is a Tuesday, and we would have been closed from the 1st through the 4th anyway. In order to maximize the number of classes over the summer, we decided to just make it the week closure.
We are CLOSED for 7 days, but there are five weekends this month, so few classes are lost.
