ANNOUNCEMENT: This month is a belt ceremony.
** Each class Saya Dan will be testing and assessing students that are ready for
their belt. At that point the student will receive a color tape stripe on their belt
indicating that they are that new color. At the ceremony in October they will
receive their new belt and certificate dated the actual date of promotion.
IF YOUR STUDENT RECEIVES HIS OR HER STRIPE, THEY ARE INVITED TO THE CEREMONY!
Important Reminder:
Belt test forms are mandatory to turn in before promotion. Also the fee for the
belt is $10 at the ceremony. Behavior at home, school, efforts in therapy, and other
activities all go in determination of belt promotion. If you have a question, or
think your child should be promoted soon, please contact us.
2016 Veterans Day Tournament

Register NOW for the 2nd Annual Veteran Day’s Tournament!!

Where: The PAC Center Leander
Who: Any students
Early registration is $25. Register by November 1st
Registration day of tournament is $35
Registration / check in is 1:30-2PM
Spectator tickets are $5 in advance
$10 at door on day of tournament
Veterans are free
This year the tournament will be held at The PAC Center in Leander due to our growth
of our school.
We are inviting everyone from white belts up to register for the tournament.
Fees will go to pay for a location that can fit everyone comfortably and trophies.
Any remaining money goes to our non-profit organization, One World Martial Arts
Federation, a 501-c Non-Profit. Those funds will help pay to educate other schools
and instructors to be able to offer programs like ours, create scholarships for
parents facing hardships due to their child’s special needs, and many other
important projects!

Hello all. The big news is the tournament. PLEASE try your best to attend the
tournament and encourage your child to compete. Tournaments are HUGELY beneficial
experiences! They are controlled environments where students can face stress,
challenges outside of the norm, experience success, experience disappointment, and
more! The tournament is an opportunity for personal growth that we should make
every attempt to experience.
This year three other school programs like ours are invited, so the students will
have the opportunity to meet other martial artists just like them from other areas
and create friendships!
REGISTER AS SOON AS YOU CAN! WE NEED TO KNOW HOW MANY PLAN ON ATTENDING.
